For me personally, I need to have a holistic approach to achieving my goal, so not only the exercise but the food plan as well and that’s what I get from Julia. So along with regular weekly updates on my exercise goals for the week, I also have a food plan to keep me on track – which helps with my motivation. "Julia Please see PT Testimonial After training regularly and consistently for 3 years, with a structured, progressive 14 hour / week program. I'd seen the initial and easily gained training adaption’s level off. My training goals and objectives were fundamental and clear, an improved aerobic capacity, an increase in muscular endurance capability and an improved recovery strategy, all directed toward one particular sporting activity. Working together with Julia, she was able to listen and understand the fundamental objectives and requirements that I had. Her insight, was that she could also see what support my training needed as a foundation and platform to achieve these further increases and improvements in the adaption’s I was looking for. With her ideas, direction and support we were able to open up my program to include specific activities, exercises and structured sessions that measurably improved my overall conditioning and performance. "Seven years ago I tore a calf muscle playing cricket. Since then my only exercise was an occasional gentle walk. Needless to say I gradually became less and less fit and I put on a lot of weight! Recently I met Julia and we discussed my ultimate fitness goals. For me it was to start running again, so we agreed on a programme that encompassed exercise and small dietary change. Twelve weeks on and I have lost 10 kilos, and I regularly jog between 3 and 4 kilometres. I am currently looking forward to my first 10 K race with Julia at my side. "I had been going to the gym/ attending aerobics classes for years - but had never really seen the benefits when I won a free training session with Julia at my local gym so though I'd give it a go. I have never really been over weight- but just wanted to lose those few pounds that had crept on post babies and generally tone up. Julia devised an exercise programme for me avoiding anything that aggravated a knee injury I had. She showed me how to do the exercises properly and made sure I got the most out of my hour long training session. Julia also devised an eating plan for me after getting me to keep a food diary for a week. I continued to train with Julia once a week and did the programme she devised for me in between sessions. I soon noticed a difference in how I looked and was feeling so much so that almost 12 months on I'm still training with her once a week. I had never considered using a personal trainer before but given the difference Julia has made to my training sessions (and my post baby belly !!) I would highly recommend her services. "
